High Mail queue /Mail flow issue -

1. Check the queue & observe - Identify what kind of mails are stuck ( there are chances of spam / autogenerated or application relaying mails causing issue) .

2. Check any Services are stopped ? - Ensure all necessary services started

3. Check in Event Viewer for any error.



4. Ensure no time difference between Exchnage,AD servers.

5. Check any other server Eg: Mailbox , having issues ? or if any specific location server or network bandwidth or port (Firewall level)issues ?

6. Check Resource utilization, Server's Uptime & reboot if very high uptime or higher resource usage

7. Verify all database status, mount if any Database store dismounted or troubleshoot verifying transaction log files,disk space etc ,Use eseutil - recovery or repair methods if issues during mounting.

8. Check by stopping antivirus or if any Mail security clients.

9. Coordinate with ISP,Mail secuirty products / Network level if external mailflow issues
